Development of Navigation Algorithm for Robots

SAVY Robotics builds robots used in industry and the healthcare sector. The system supports precise and reliable indoor positioning. Ateleris developed a navigation algorithm, with which the robot can find the most direct path between position A and B, even in areas of 400 by 400 meters. The algorithm is able to calculate the shortest path and – if obstacles are detected (people, objects, etc.) – to avoid the obstacle and find a way around it. Only with this newly developed algorithm the robot is able to react in real time.
